About Edward

Edward has a Master's in Public Administration, and is a graduate of the Coro Foundation mid-level executive program. He received Toastmasters International highest honor, the Distinguished Toastmaster designation, and has won numerous regional speech contests.  Edward also received the Association of Government Accountant's Certified Government Manager's designation.  He is also a graduate of the Greater Los Angeles National Speaker's Academy.

Edward was Director of Finance and Administration at San Francisco's (City) Juvenile Probation Department.  Before that, he was an Audit Manager in the City's Controller's Office.  Throughout his career, Edward coached dozens of employees, friends, and colleagues, helping them realize professional success.

Edward has served, and continues to serve as a board member and committed member of many community organizations.  In recent years, Edward served as a Toastmaster Area Governor and as a Toastmaster Division Governor in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, in southern California.  Edward was also Vice President for Programming of the Palm Springs Writers Guild.  He has also been a board member or committee member in many religious and political organizations, homeowner associations, and health-care agencies.

Edward is also a prolific traveler.  To date, he has traveled to fifty-three countries on four continents, and to thirty-five states.  He strongly believes that travel is the most cost-effective way to enrich his life and to become knowledgeable about the world around him.  His life-long goal is to visit one hundred countries, and to step foot on all of the seven continents.
